xBox:
- Halo - kickass! It's gorgeous. Reminds me of Tribes, is scifi-ish,
and is like Quake! Yay!
- DOA3 - Me like. Fave fighter: Ayane
- Fuzion Frenzy - Fun in groups.
PS2:
- Baldur's Gate - probably have to say that this is even more enjoyable on PS2 than PC
- I saw all the movies of FFX while Swope was playing... so sad... I don't think I can play it when break is here... *sniffs*
What I was/am playing:
- Dark Age of Camelot: Merlin Server --> my account is prob. suspended due to non-payment. I will prob be on in the summer again.
- Elaenna - Elven Ranger of Hibernia
- Seldinae - Human Champion of Hibernia (yes, I know, I repeated a character's name but I was in a hurry and couldn't think of one fast enough!)
- Diablo2:LoD
- Account Name on Bnet East: shadenite
- Characters (as of 12 Jan. 2002):
- Silke - Martial Arts Assassin: Lvl 79
- Seldinae - Spear and Javelin Amazon: Lvl 62
- Mhethizar - Sword Mastery Barbarian: Lvl 30
- Thelzad - Paladin: Lvl 21
- E-something - Assassin: Lvl 18
- Miralae - Sorceress Mule: Lvl 11
- ShadeStore - Sorceress Mule: Lvl 10
- Dungeon Seige - So far it looks very pretty. I guess the only thing I'm disappointed
about is that it is so linear. There aren't a lot of skills you can develop and go from,
which I think if they added that functionality, there would be a lot more playability.
- Quake 3
- Heroes of Might and Magic III
- Heroes of Might and Magic IV - I'm not sure what I think of it yet. I really liked the
other Heroes games, but this one may take me a bit to warm up to. Something feels off. Not
sure if it's because there's no upgrade feature, which I am used to or that you have to have
a million heroes or just the speed factor that I'm not used to. I tried out the Necro and
thought he was pretty week and that the creatures looked kind of dumb.
- Serious Sam 2: OMG is this game hilarious! Fun Factor extremely high, especially playing
with people!
- Dreamcast: Chu Chu Rockets
- Dreamcast: Soul Caliber
- Dreamcast: Virtua Tennis
- D & D
- Warcraft III
- Neverwinter Nights
- GameCube: Animal Crossing!!!
- UT 2003
Fave. Nostalgic Game: Quake 1
Most Played: Quake 1 & Diablo 2: LoD
Game I've Never Won: Axis & Allies (but only because I played mostly against a strategy whore [Rogethus] who learned at his mother's bosom and against craazies at Gen Con)
Game I didn't enjoy when I played: Silent Death ... I don't know why
Games I miss: Warhammer 40k, Squighopper Races, Chaos Progenitus or as I call them Chaos dice
Fave. Game Music: Final Fantasy 3
Most Nostalgic Music: Blur Song 2 (reminds me of Quake... dunno why...)
How did I get into gaming?? Well, it all started when
I met Rogethus in middle school. Before I knew it I was playing
Axis & Allies, Hero Quest, and computer games on his system (I
didn't get a computer till I was a junior in HS.) Then when I
started HS I found out there was this really cool organization
called Strategy & Tactics club where the "not so cool people"
(like myself) could play games. Then I got my computer finally,
got hooked on Quake I and my life ended. Well, not really,
somehow I managed to get good grades in school AND was also able
to game from the time school was out till the wee morning hours.
It sure as hell surprised me (and I'm sure it surprised my mom)
that I got through that phase alright. Now I game when I have
time, so when school is in session I hit the books and refuse to
answer the call... shhh...
