Operation Torch Bearer Operating Locations Mission headquarters is in the Elkhorn Army National Guard armory, 410 East Fair Avenue, Elkhorn, WI. Click here for a map. Most of the construction on Highway 11 and in downtown Elkhorn is finished. Use the following directions to get to the armory.  Entering Elkhorn from the north, east, or south. Exit I-43 on to Highway 11 west. Follow 11 west to the first left turn after the fair grounds (grounds are on your left). Make a "hard" left on to Fair Avenue (no street sign yet). The armory is the second brick building on the right.  Entering Elkhorn from the west. Take Highway 11 to Highway 67 (first stop light in Elkhorn). Continue straight ahead through the stop light. You are on Walworth Avenue. (Highway 11 turned left, don't follow it.) Follow Walworth Ave until it ends at South Jackson (three blocks). Turn left on to S Jackson and follow it to Fair Avenue, which is the unmarked road going right just before S Jackson Street ends at Highway 11 (stop sign). Turn right on Fair Avenue. The armory is the second brick building on the right. Primary flight operations will be from Lake Lawn Airport, Delavan, WI (C59). Lake Lawn is one mile east of Interstate 43 on Highway 50.
